There’s plenty of different types of air purifiers that can qualify as the best air purifier. There are plug-in purifiers, filterless purifiers, and personal air purifiers. And if you’re looking for the best personal air purifiers, you should put the AVICHE W3 on your consideration list for its portability and long battery life.

Why We Like It – AVICHE W3

AVICHE W3 Personal Air Purifiers are another example of something that’s ‘budget’ that can still hold its own against the more sizable competition. It’s filterless, so you won’t have to incur any extra costs, and the coverage area is impressive for something so small and inexpensive.

Pros
  • 25-30 Hours of Battery
  • Removes Pollutants as Small as PM2.5
  • Lightweight and Portable
Cons
  • A Little Loud
  • Prevents but Doesn’t Destroy

Speed/Power

The W3 Wearable Air Purifier has an impressive negative ions output of 20 million pcs/cm3. This helps to definitively shoo away contaminants around your personal bubble. You can also check out the AirTamer A310 for another example of a powerful device. The battery is also good at 25-30 hours per charge. Not the highest we’ve seen, but still good enough. If you want a portable air purifier with better battery life then you can try the AVICHE Necklace Wearable Mini.

Efficiency

The AVICHE W3 is able to create a protective bubble of about three feet in every direction. Impressive for a budget air purifier, and great for people who want to take it with them on road trips or plane rides, you can also check out the Dyson Cool Me for something with a little more coverage. On the downside, the noise level is around 20dB which is a little loud for something you have to be constantly close to.

Versatility

The W3 can fight and remove bacteria, smoke, allergens, and all other pollutants and contaminants. In fact, it can prevent 99% of germs as small as PM2.5 from getting in. Just be aware that it only prevents them, though, it doesn’t destroy them. If you want a personal air purifier designed specifically for smoke, check out the Smoke Buddy Air Filter. Durability

One of the main draws of this personal air purifier is that it doesn’t require filters so you’ll be saving on that cost. Further, at 1.75 ounces, it’s one of the lightest and most portable air purifiers we’ve seen. Not the lightest, but nothing to complain about. So if you’d like to take it with you on a car ride, or on a plane ride, or just out walking with you, or to the office, it shouldn’t slow you down at all. Value

Amazon reviews are good, at 4/5 stars, if a little scarce, at 41 reviews. One of the best things about it is the price. If you’ve ever been on the fence about getting a personal air purifier, this one’s measly $30.00 price tag should be enough incentive to at least buy it to see if they are right for you. If they are, great, if not, then at least you haven’t broken the bank.

AVICHE W3 Wrap Up

There’s always going to be setbacks when it comes to budget items. In this case, the AVICHE W3 is a little noisy considering you have to wear it so close to you at all times. But if you’d like to test the waters to see if you will indeed get an extra boost of energy with personal air purifiers, the W3 is an excellent jumping-off point.
