Here is how to load photos from a digital cam to a Microsoft computer that is running Windows 10. The specific steps may differ slightly depending on what version of Windows 10 you are using and what camera you are connecting.

Connect the Camera to the Computer

The first thing you need to do is connect the camera to the computer. This can be done in a number of ways but is typically performed by plugging a USB cable into a USB port or one of a number of other USB devices. If you are simply connecting the camera’s memory card or another storage device to the computer, you can forego this step. Instead, remove the memory card from the camera and insert the memory card into the memory card reader on the computer. Card readers are extremely common with computers.
