Why We Like It – ILIFE V3s Pro

The ILIFE V3s offers one of the best robotic vacuum cleaners for your budget, while still maintaining performance that keeps your hard flooring and low-profile carpets clean. It’s very much like its sister model, which you can read about in our iLife vacuum review.

Pros
  • Long battery life
  • Can run on carpets
  • Programmable scheduling
Cons
  • Can be a bit loud
  • Fills up quickly

Performance

The ILIFE V3s Pro Robotic Vacuum Cleaner is going to tackle all kinds of messes on your floors such as pet hair, dirt, debris, and even human hair. Rather than use a roller, it uses two spinning brushes that sweep the debris into the vacuum and its suction power sucks it right in. It has three cleaning modes: edge cleaning, spot cleaning, auto cleaning, and schedule cleaning, which you can program. That’s one more cleaning mode than the Ecovacs DEEBOT N79S. However, it can be a bit loud at times, getting as high as 64 dB.

Furthermore, the ILIFE V3s Pro Robotic Vacuum is a champ on other kinds of flooring, other than hardwood floors. Robotic vacuums in general do just fine on most hard floors but rarely ever venture onto carpet. The V3s Pro does not have that problem at all. It can work on hard flooring and select carpeting too—thin carpets and rugs to be specific. You’ll get an easy 100 minutes out of the V3s Pro, easily competing with the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S.

Design

The ILIFE V3s Pro is so small, you won’t even notice it’s in your house—and that’s including the charging station. Find an unoccupied corner in your house and that will be its new home, provided it’s near an electrical outlet for the power cable. Alternatively, you can charge the vacuum directly.

The V3s Pro robot vacuum cleaner isn’t that far off in design from its brother, the V5s Pro. ILIFE went with a black and white color scheme over the gold covering. However, because of its size, you’ll be cleaning its HEPA filter and the dustbin pretty often, just like the iRobot Roomba 675.

Value

Considering how well the ILIFE V3s can tackle various messes on hard flooring, thin cars, and rugs, this robotic vacuum cleaner is a superb value. This is especially true given how long it can hold a charge with its lithium-ion batteries. And when it starts to get low, it’ll automatically return to its charging station, or you can use the remote control. In our Goovi vacuum review, you’ll find it also works with a remote control and smart home devices.

However, the best part of the V3s Pro is its programmable scheduling. This ensures that you rarely have to mess with the vacuum since it’ll clean during those scheduled times without your saying so—not until you need to clean it. ILIFE V3s Pro Wrap Up

The ILIFE V3s Pro robot vacuum cleaner is quite the workhorse, so don’t let its size fool you. Its long battery life will have it working long after you aren’t which works great with its programmable scheduling. While it does need to be cleaned often often, and can be a bit loud at times, the fact that it can work on thin carpets and rugs is enough to look past that—a feature that few robot vacuums have.
