It may only be made from aluminum, but that’s to be expected from a budget scooter, and the no rear wheel brake problem can be solved by just planting both feet firmly on the ground. Why We Like It – Xprit Electric Scooter
The XPRIT Electric Scooter holds quite a bit of impressive features for a scooter that has become known as a ‘budget scooter’. The 15 MPH top speed is comparable with most high end scooters, and the 8Ah battery is a nice little addition that other, more expensive scooters, haven’t even adopted yet.

Performance
The XPRIT Electric Kick Scooter can boast a top speed of about 15 MPH under ideal conditions. This is about on par with other scooters in its class like the Glion Dolly Foldable Lightweight Adult Electric Scooter. The XPRIT can also tackle slopes of up to 10%, which isn’t bad, but also isn’t the highest we’ve seen for these types of scooter. The Glion scooter mentioned previously can tackle slopes steeper than that.

Safety
The XPRIT E Scooter may only have 6.5 inch tires, which are two inches smaller than comparable scooters, but the hard rubber tires make it so that the scooter grips the road firmly and adds a wonderful amount of maneuverability. You can check out the Nanrobot D4+ if bigger, chunkier tires make you feel safer though. Unfortunately, the scooter doesn’t come with a rear brake, so you’ll have to rely on front brake stopping power. Not that it’s bad, but having an extra option is always nice.
Battery Life
The XPRIT Electric Scooter boasts an impressive 8Ah battery that can propel a fully grown adult about 13 miles before it finally gives out. The Ninebot Segway Max has a comparable amount of distance if you’d like to check that out too. But the most impressive thing about the battery on the XPRIT Electric Scooter is that it can charge in about two or three hours which is the lowest we’ve seen of any scooter so far!

Durability
While the scooter is made from high-grade aluminum alloy, we still wish it was made out of something a bit more hefty like steel. But this adds to the compactness and lightness of the scooter, weighing only 27 pound. It also folds in three clicks so you can walk with it in hand onto a bus or subway. The weight capacity of the scooter is still on-par with most other higher-end scooters though by being able to carry a maximum of 220 pounds.
Value
The XPRIT Electric Scooter comes with plenty of extra features such as an LED display which displays current speed, trip mileage, and current gear. Speaking of gear, the scooter has four different modes; ECO, Confort, and Sport that you can select depending on your needs or the type of conditions outside. And useful tip, the LED screen is bright enough that it can be used as a headlight if you find yourself riding in the dark.

What the XPRIT Electric Scooter has going for it that even high-end scooters don’t is the incredible 2-3 hour charge time. The mile range is average, if even a little on the high side, but the charge time is what really sets it apart. Overall, it’s a fantastic family scooter that should be able to fit into your smart home with nothing but ease.
