The INOKIM Light 2 E Scooter boasts a powerful 350 watt motor that helps it achieve its impressive 21 MPH top speed. The low center of gravity makes the scooter much easier to balance as well. But because of this, and because of a lack of suspension, you’ll feel bumps more readily. Still, you wouldn’t be wrong to think that it’s one of the the best folding electric scooter. Just for comparison, check out other top-rated electric scooters.

Why We Like It – INOKIM Light 2

The INOKIM Light 2 is faster than most other scooters in its class and should be able to scoot you around the city or campus in no time. The 8.5 inch Pneumatic tires provide a peaceful, smooth ride over bumps and curbs and the 375Wh battery is powerful and much bigger than other, comparable scooters.

Pros
  • 350 Watt Motor
  • 5.5 Miles on a Single Battery Charge
  • Easier to Balance
Cons
  • No Suspension
  • Front Lights Should Have Been Placed Further Up

Performance

INOKIM Light 2 Electric Scooters boast a top speed of 21 MPH or 34 km h. This places the INOKIM Light 2 Scooter well above what will generally be needed if you need to boot around a city or just around your neighborhood. So if you do want something slower, consider the Glion Dolly Foldable Lightweight Adult Electric Scooter. The INOKIM also has a 350 watt motor, which is both sufficient yet not overwhelming.

Safety

The INOKIM Light 2 Scooter comes equipped with 8.5 inch Pneumatic Wheels to help you take a bump or curb without much of an issue. Unfortunately, the lack of suspension means these bumps or curbs, and we should extend that to potholes and rocks as well, should still be taken very carefully. Check out the Nanrobot D4+ if suspension is a do or die for you.

Battery Life

With a 375Wh battery, the INOKIM Light 2 is well above the average capacity for scooters in its class. The total charge time for the scooter is also exceptional, coming in at 4.5 hours to get a full charge. And this full charge will net you about 5.5 miles of distance. If an INOKIM Electric Scooter review places an emphasis on anything, it should be on how well the battery works. But what about the Joyor Electric Scooter’s 31-mile battery capacity?

Durability

One thing you’ll notice if you purchase the INOKIM Light 2 is the low ground clearance compared to other scooters, such as the Ninebot Segway Max. This does provide you with greater balance, but also means you’ll feel bumps more. This is where having suspension would have come in handy. Other than that, the scooter has a total weight capacity of 220 pounds, meaning it’s great for both teenagers and adults to use.

Value

Some additional features on the INOKIM Light 2 include dual drum brakes and lights front on the handlebars are high quality and contain an ambient sensor which will automatically switch them on when it’s night time. The lights are curiously placed further down the handlebar though which make them slightly less effective than if they were placed higher up.

INOKIM Light 2 Wrap Up

To review INOKIM would be to review and praise not only its amazing battery life, but it’s incredibly fast charging speed as well. With 5.5 miles travelled on a single 4.5 hour charge, it’s easy to be able to use the scooter a couple of times per day between charges. One curious design feature, however, is how low they put the front headlight. Take this into consideration before purchasing if you’re the type who travels a lot at night.
