Performance
Unlike the Whistle 3 GPS Pet Tracker, this pet tracker still uses GSM connectivity. Still, for a GPS collar, 2G connectivity is mostly fine. GPS trackers that don’t have advanced voice/video calling functions don’t really need anything more. And compared to other 3G and 4G cat trackers, this GPS tracking device performs well enough.
Battery
The battery inside this Weenect GPS collar is a 550 mAH one. And it can last pretty much up to 72 hours (for three days). Granted, it’s not at all close to the Whistle Cat Tracker’s 20 days’ worth of battery life. But it’s still pretty good considering the size and weight of this thing.

Ease Of Use
The Weenect GPS app is extremely easy to use. And there’s a lot of functions built-in. You can literally train your cat and set a distance limit. For example, you can associate a ring or vibration with mealtime, making your cat come home when you need to. Even the BARTUN GPS Tracker doesn’t have all this stuff in its app.
Durability
Even without the included silicone case, it is as tough as a brick. It has sort of a premium feeling heft to it that most good products have. And the IP67 rating is a godsend in case your pet ever decides to swim. The build quality is similar to a Tractive GPS tracker, extremely good.
