The umbrella you bought before there were color TVs is due for a replacement, something with UV protection and can withstand strong winds. Of course, it has to be very affordable, too. Why spend a bunch of money if you aren’t using it often? The best umbrellas perfectly fitting that description is the Sharpty Inverted Umbrella.

Why We Like It – Sharpty Inverted Umbrella

A stranger among traditional umbrellas, the Sharpty Inverted Umbrella is inverted, and uses an ergonomic c shaped handle, while providing better performance than common umbrellas.

Pros
  • Can withstand winds of 60mph
  • Inverted design keeps you dry
  • UV protection

Cons
  • Doesn’t automatically open or close

Performance

Against winds of 60mph, the Sharpty Inverted Umbrella windproof properties came in handy. By utilizing a double layer canopy, wind is encouraged to flow through the umbrella rather than against. And with sturdy materials used, it could withstand a beating without buckling. Only the Repel Windproof Umbrella outperformed it.

As for rain, its 47.2-inch canopy gives you a large radius of coverage, though the G4Free Ultimate Golf Umbrella can handle groups of people. That double layer also comes in handy against heavy rain. When it’s sunny, take it out anyways for UV protection, a feature the EEZ-Y Windproof Travel Umbrella lacks.

Design

What we liked the most about the Sharpty Inverted Windproof Umbrella was its inverted design. Not only does it make it easier to store, it’s reverse folding will make sure you stay dry before getting in a car or entering a building. When you are in a situation you need both hands for, its hands free ergonomic c shaped handle gives you the opportunity to slide it around your wrist and or forearm. And with so many designs available, you’ll find one that fits your personality. Interested in an umbrella with teflon coated wind-guard canopy, and an automatic open and close umbrella? Value

The Sharpty Inverted Umbrella offers a lot within its $17 price tag. It performs well against wind and weather, while adding protection against UV rays. It may not be the best performing umbrella, but it sure can replace that old, flimsy one you have tucked away in your clothes—the one that’s taking up too much space and folds easily. We like to think it may earn a spot as your favorite umbrella. It has our mark of value, for sure. Browsing the internet for a fun umbrella for your child? Sharpty Inverted Umbrella Wrap Up

We were very surprised by the Sharpty Inverted Umbrella’s performance, especially against 60mph winds. You’re getting one tough umbrella. Its inverted design will ensure you don’t douse your head with water when closing it. And on bright days, you have protection against harmful UV rays. Its lack of automatic closing and opening was easy to look past, thanks to its performance.
