The Repel Windproof Umbrella is fantastic under pressure. When high winds are upon you, it doesn’t buckle and fold. Half of its success is thanks to the 9 resin reinforced fiberglass ribs, one more than the G4Free Ultimate Golf Umbrella’s 8 resin ribs. Unlike the thin flimsy metal seen in other umbrellas, these bend every so slightly (to keep from breaking). The other half of its success is its double vented canopy, which encourages wind to pass through and not against the umbrella.
