The OPOLAR USB Fan is a lightweight and compact fan that’s easily transportable from room to room without having to take an extra USB Cord with you because, on the OPOLAR fan, it’s attached. We just wish it had a little more than the standard two-speed settings. We consider it a great desk fan, the best USB fan, and a fine fan all around. You won’t be disappointed!

It has two-speed settings, which is largely typical for a fan of its class, but you can check out the Vornado Pivot if you want more than just high and low for settings.

It’s very lightweight, coming in at a mere 0.85 pounds, and very compact, sporting 4-inch blades and a 6-inch frame which will save your desktop a lot of space. Like the Holmes Blizzard Fan, it’s a very traditional-looking fan without many high-tech features, like an internal LED, and just simple button control.
Noise/Sound Level
The OPOLAR Personal Fan is fantastic in many aspects, but unfortunately noise level is not one of them. If you want a quiet fan, check out the Fancii USB Fan because estimates for the noise level of the OPOLAR Fan is anywhere between 52-55dB. For reference, this is just shy of normal conversation levels!
Versatility/Modern Features
The OPOLAR Portable Fan is powered by an almost four-foot USB Cable that plugs into computers, portable chargers, and just about everything else that has a USB Port. This will save you money on your energy costs by not using your air conditioner or wall outlets. OPOLAR Battery Operated fans with a rechargeable battery do exist, as do OPOLAR clip fans, and they are often paired with a USB Cord to let you decide how to power them, but unfortunately, this model isn’t one of them.
