Performance
The new OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 headphones come with a three-unit driver array beneath each nozzle, which means better quality sound compared to the single dynamic driver that’s found on its predecessor, as well as on the Shure SE215. A dual-driver balanced armature housing and a 10mm dynamic driver can be found in each earpiece, which results in hi-fi sound. The wireless earbuds also boast support for the APTX HD audio codec, which is basically a format that supports “better-than-CD” audio quality. When used for phone calls, the integrated mic does a great job, as it produces an audible sound that sounds very natural.
Design
Designwise, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 doesn’t stand up to the good looks you get with the Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear earphones, but they do come with three pairs of ear tips so that you’re able to choose the ones that fit the best and feel the most comfortable. Also, its earpiece covers are made out of semi-gloss finished steel, which is different from the original OnePlus bullets that had aluminum earpiece covers. When wearing it around your neck, the wireless headphones feel quite light, and they won’t get in your way when you’re doing any sort of fast movements.

One nifty little feature that you get with both the Original Bullets Wireless earbuds and the new OnePlus Wireless headphones is that the earpieces are both magnetized, and when you clip them together they turn off, but when separated they turn on. This is done in a bid to omit the power button, and we think it’s a clever little workaround. The true wireless earphones also allow for quick charging, where a short 10-minute charge gets you around 10 hours of playtime, which is very impressive and difficult to find in other earphones such as the Bose QuietComfort 20.
