The Lenovo Chromebook Duet is a 2-in-1 device that you will primarily use in tablet mode but can also function as a laptop. This Chromebook is much more than just a glorified Chrome browser; the Chrome OS operates primarily as a way to access cloud-based services over wi fi but is also capable of running Android apps that can be easily downloaded from the Google Play Store.

Display Type
The Lenovo Ideapad Duet Chromebook has a 10.1” WUXGA IPS touchscreen. This display has a 16:10 aspect ratio and produces up to 400 nits of brightness, resulting in great visual performance and excellent viewing angles. This chromebook boast a superior display quality compared to the Lenovo Chromebook C340. The touchscreen is a 10-point multi-touch system and can be used with your hands or with a USI-compatible pen. If you decide you’d rather use a pen than your fingers, you will have to purchase one separately as Lenovo has opted to not include one with this device.
Resolution
Since the Chromebook Duet has a 16:10 aspect ratio it also has an uncommon resolution. The screen is 1920 x 1200 pixels, providing a full HD experience along with touch features. The glossy IPS panel does well in bright environments since it can produce up to 400 nits of brightness, but unfortunately, it only comes in full HD. There isn’t a 4K version of the screen available for this device, but that’s not much of a concern given the low price point. Battery Life
Lenovo claims the Lenovo Chromebook has a battery life of up to 10 hours. The 27Wh, 7,000mAh can easily meet or exceed this claim, due in part to its MediaTek Helio P60T processor. The processor doesn’t require a lot of power to achieve its intended purpose, which results in longer battery life from a relatively low capacity battery. Weight & Durability
Thanks to its small size and partially aluminum chassis (for a full aluminum chassis check out the ASUS Chromebook Flip C434), the Lenovo Duet is very lightweight at only 0.99 lbs. The overall weight will go up slightly when you attach the magnetic keyboard to it, which functions not only as an input option but also doubles as a stand. It has a premium feel thanks to the dual-tone design, all-glass front, and textured fabric cover on the keyboard/stand.
Inputs
Unlike the Google Pixelbook i5 (which has two USB-C ports), the Lenovo Duet only has a single USB-C port to connect to your devices. This means nearly everything you want to connect it to, such as a larger display, storage device, or even headphones, will require an adapter. Another minus of this setup is that the device charges via USB-C, meaning you can’t connect the device to a display while it is charging. The single connection option is ultimately the biggest downfall of the Lenovo Chromebook Duet.
Lenovo Chromebook Duet Wrap Up
For what it is, the Lenovo Chromebook Duet is a decent device. It’s extremely affordable, fairly capable, and offers an ample amount of internal storage, but it’s really held back by its single USB-C design. This limits its overall practicality as a laptop, but if you’re planning on mainly using it as a tablet, then the Chromebook Duet will work just fine.
