If you are a frequent traveler and need the best headphones to block out the sounds of nearby people, you have every reason to review Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. They’ll provide hours of quiet time you’ll desperately need in noisy areas, not to mention audio quality that tickles even audiophiles.

Why We Like It – Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 Review

The Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 are the kind of headphones people dream of, especially if they travel a lot, and that’s thanks to its excellent sound quality, superb performance, and additional amenities.

Pros
  • Superb performance
  • Excellent sound quality
  • Comes with additional features
Cons
  • Expensive

Performance

For the longest time, the Bose QuietComfort 35 II was one of the best Bose headphones; Bose Noise-Cancelling Headphones 700 are here to dethrone them in every aspect. Starting with sound quality, the QC35 II were already a great pair of headphones for music, and the Bose Noise Cancelling 700 Headphones kick it up a notch.

The mids and highs are noticeably more clear, and the bass is perfect, not obnoxious, which makes it a great pair of workout headphones. There’s more presence to voices and sounds if you’re watching movies, or listening to music. It even extends to phone calls, providing better call quality—a serious contender next to one of the best Sony headphones, the Sony WH-1000XM3.

As for noise cancellation, QC 35 II’s would sometimes let in really high sounds—just a tad. The Bose 700’s eliminate that altogether. So someone who is being obnoxious near you will be drowned out entirely. And with a battery life of 20 hours, that is a long time to enjoy its performance.

Design

Similar to the Beats Studio3 wireless noise-cancelling headphones, the Bose Noise-Canceling Headphones 700 are deceptively simple in design. One quick look at them and you wouldn’t realize the oodles of technology under the hood with this new design. There are only three buttons found on the right earcup and left, one to control a voice assistant—Google Assistant or Amazon’s Alexa—another for power, and the last for controlling the various levels of noise cancellation. Volume, play, pause, previous track, and next track are all functions tied to touch controls on the right ear cup. This is a fun way to control Bose apps, especially when using the Bose Music app. It goes without saying, these headphones are far more comfortable than the MPOW H10.

Value

Considering the noticeable improvement over previous models, long battery life, superb noise-cancelling, and excellent sound quality—the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 are of great value, but only if you’ve got the funds to do so. They’re partially a luxury item, but it’s also Bose, a well-known brand, and the ANC headphones are built with additional functions not seen in other headphones. For example, the Bose 700 is Bose AR-enabled, which means motion sensors are built in to detect head orientation and motion, something Bose’s AR-enhanced apps can make use of.

Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 Review Wrap Up

If life has you traveling a lot, a large portion of your time will be spent most likely near other people. The majority will be noisy, and drowning them out with music won’t be enough. That’s where the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 shines, especially when you need the best of the best. Sure, they’re on the expensive side, but considering its Bose, and additional features built-in, you’ll know for sure you’re getting a quality product.
