If you’re looking for the best ebike for hills that are the complete package, the Biktrix Juggernaut Classic HD is running on all cylinders. Fenders, front and rear lights, rear rack, hydraulic brakes, and more, the Juggernaut Classic is packed with features. And that’s just the base model we’re talking about. You would mistake it for the best electric bike if it was your first bike review to look at.

Why We Like It – Biktrix Juggernaut Classic HD

Customizable and powerful, the Biktrix Juggernaut Classic HD flies up and down hills with ease, thanks to its 750W motor and 8-speed Shimano gear. You can compare it with the 756W bike in the Besv trb1 review.

Pros
  • 24mph maximum speed
  • 160mm hydraulic disc brakes
  • Can be customized before purchase
Cons
  • Seating isn’t for everyone
  • So-so battery life; 30 miles per charge

Durability & Build Quality

The Biktrix Juggernaut Classic HD makes full use of its 6061 aluminum alloy, being both strong and lightweight. The seat post feels rigid, however, but can be altered. More importantly, its frame is supported by rear suspension and a front fork. The rear and front suspension fork offer excellent absorption, preventing the rider from bucking. The seating is comfortable, but angled in a way that’ll be uncomfortable for some. But for a comfortable ride in a high-performance bike, it is not a match to the bike in our Biktrix juggernaut classic bike review.

Performance (Speed & Acceleration)

You can do a lot with a 750W mid drive motor, and that’s exactly what the Biktrix Juggernaut HD electric bikes do. Speeding around at 24mph is simply awesome. The Shimano 8-speed is a wonderful compliment, whether you’re hitting inclines or joyriding on flatlands. The cadence PAS pedal assist sensor switching on is notable, however. For serious speed, take the HalloMotor 5000W FC-1 for a spin.

Range & Battery

On the base model, the lithium battery isn’t great, only eeking out 30 miles on a single charge. But you can opt into adding another battery or picking a higher-capacity option.

Safety Features

The Biktrix Juggernaut Classic HD is armed to the teeth with safety features and feels more complete than the Haibike SDURO HardSeven 2.0. The wide fat tires alone offer better control, but the Tektro dual-piston hydraulic brakes are king here with some serious stopping power, especially going downhill. You also get fenders to block debris and a headlamp, rear light, and rear rack.

Value

Seeing the $2099 might turn you off—we understand! However, the Biktrix Juggernaut Class HD E Bikes are some of the most high quality machines around. There’s so much value here in just the base model alone, unlike the expensive E-Cells Super Monarch Crown. Not to mention oodles of options to customize before you purchase, like different disc brakes, tires, or adding a suspension seatpost.

Biktrix Juggernaut Classic HD Wrap Up

Taking into consideration of our Biktrix Juggernaut Classic HD Bike review, it’s the complete package, even at the base model. The simple fact that you can customize many of its features makes its battery life a non-factor. The base model alone will have you taking off at 24mph and stopping hard on the tough, confident Tektro 160mm hydraulic disc brakes.
