If breaking the bank isn’t your idea of the best e bikes for women, the ANCHEER 26” Electric City Bike has a few questions. After all, its step-thru frame makes it easy to mount and dismount. The rear rack is a nice feature to have when commuting. And if you do, you’ll be glad to hear the dual disc brakes are particularly confident in their stopping power. So, if you are looking for the best electric bike for commuting, this might be it.

Pros
  • Step-thru frame is easier to mount/dismount
  • Dual disc brakes
  • Built-in rear rack
Cons
  • Max speed of 16mph
  • Max distance of 32 miles per charge

Durability & Build Quality

If there’s anything the ANCHEER 26” Electric City Bike can take home, it’s being well-built. With an aluminum frame, it struck a nice balance between strength and lighter weight. The front fork in particular is a high strength suspension fork that provides a comfortable riding experience. But if you want to have a sporting bike for your adventures, check out the Ancheer electric bike review.

Performance (Speed & Acceleration)

The is equipped with a 250W high speed brushless gear—it’s just too bad top speed is only 16mph, which is slower than most e bikes on our list. The Cube Kathmandu Hybrid 45 tops 20mph, easily. It does have 6-speed gears, which is a nice variety to switch between when needed.

Range & Battery

At the same time, the lithium ion battery isn’t very impressive either. On a single charge, you’ll get—at most—32 miles. You could eek out a few more with pedal assist mode, but with its top speed you’ll get at least 2 hours of riding.

Safety Features

These ANCHEER electric bikes aren’t particularly full of safety features, but design decisions do add some natural safety to them. The high quality anti-slip wear resistant cruiser tires grip the road and various terrain (dirt tires and gravel) pretty well. It also comes with a front headlight, which the expensive Lapierre eSensium 300 doesn’t even have.

Value

The ANCHEER Power Plus Electric Mountain Bikes aren’t the most impressive; it isn’t very fast, nor will it take you to great lengths and back, and also easier to obtain than the Liv Thrive E+ 1 Pro. On the other hand, the ANCHEER 26” Electric City Bike is affordably priced at $800, which makes these e bikes perfect as a budget option.

ANCHEER 26″ Electric City Bike Wrap Up

The ANCHEER 26” Electric City Bike may not be the best in the business; 16mph max speed and 32-mile range isn’t particularly great, but not bad either. When you consider its step-thru design, confident front and rear disc brakes, built-in rack, and low price, the picture becomes clear: this is a budget option for exercise and commuting.
