Performance
We didn’t think any other washer would beat out the Giantex Portable Mini Compact Twin Tub, but the Zeny Portable Mini Twin Tub went ahead and did it. While neck and neck, both provide excellent washing results for such small washing machines. The Zeny Lightweight Small Laundry Washer wins out by having a bigger capacity; it can handle 13 lbs of laundry—the most we’ve seen among compact washers we’ve reviewed. It suffers from the same two washer cycles, however: Normal and Soft. The Panda Compact Washing Machine has 6 washing cycles, however.
Design
True to its name, the Zeny Portable Mini Twin Tub has—well, two tubs; one for washing, the other for the spin cycle. When the washer is done, you can toss the wet clothing immediately into the spin tub and squeeze most of the water out for better drying. It has three dials along the top. The dial on the far left is a washer timer, with the far right dial connected to the spin cycle. In the middle, you’ll find the wash cycles: Normal, Soft, and a Drain option (drain hose is in the back).
Value
Given the Zeny Twin Tub Washing Machine’s performance and design, we can say, for certain, the Zeny portable Compact Washer has excellent value. In fact, it even beats the Giantex Portable Mini Compact Twin Tub by a very slim margin. For starters, the Zeny Compact Mini Twin Tub can handle 2 more lbs of laundry. The number of washing cycles is the same—but it being shorting and slimmer than the Giantex Portable puts it a step ahead. And, let’s not forget it’s $5 cheaper than the Super Deal Portable Twin Tub.

What the Zeny Portable Mini Twin Tub lacked—two simple wash cycles—was easily overlooked by its handling of 13 lbs of laundry at once. At the same time, its spin dryer did well to squeeze out any remaining water. All of this was possible even with such a compact, space saving design.
