Performance
For such a small washing machine washer, we were rather impressed by the power of the Giantex Portable Mini Compact Twin Tub. It may spin up to 11 lbs of laundry in the washer. That’s not a lot, but if you’re living in a small apartment, you won’t have a ton of clothes to begin with, and it’s still three more pounds than the Super Deal Portable Twin Tub. And the spin dryer can handle a 6.6 lbs spin cycle. However, there aren’t many washing cycles—just Soft and Normal, with a Wash Timer dial; the dryer only has a timed spin cycle. The Panda Compact Washing Machine has six.
Design
What’s most appealing about the Giantex Portable Mini Compact Twin Tub is—well, it’s portability. When you think of washers being portable, the two don’t seem to mix. How? With better technology, portable washers were only inevitable. This one in particular only weighs 28 lbs, about as much as a small child. And it isn’t too awkward to carry seeing as it’s dimensions are 24.8 x 14 x 28.35 inches. With such small dimensions, it’s equally easy to find a place for it in your home.
Value
Being a portable washer isn’t the only reason it’s good in compact environments; it’s also incredibly affordable. Given its performance and compact design, we can certainly mark the Giantex Portable Mini Compact Twin Tub as having excellent value. It certainly isn’t the most powerful, nor handle the most laundry, but you get what you paid for, whereas the Costway Mini Washing Machine is $100 and you just get a washer.
