Performance
Given the size and what you pay to have a Costway Mini Washing Machine, we weren’t incredibly hopeful on its performance. As far as washing clothes, it does a good job. Where it fails, however, is how much it can handle; a measly 5.5 lbs of clothing. There’s two wash cycles—Normal and Soft—with a timer control. It also includes a spin cycle to force excess water out. That too did a good job, but still suffers from small loads of 1.1 lbs.
We felt the Panda Compact Washing Machine performed a few steps above it. It handles 11 lbs of wash and has 6 wash cycles for unique clothing. It’s nearly $300 more, however, and not as compact as the Costway Mini Washing Machine—but still very small.
Design
The Costway Washing Machine is portable by design. It’s such a little washing machine, you’ll forget that you have one. It’s certainly one of the smallest washing machines on our list, with dimensions of 20 x 14 x 13.5-inches. And it weighs just under 14 lbs so it’s very easy to move around the house while also being very easy to use. With it being such a small portable washer, this will fit perfectly in an RV, even better than the Super Deal Portable Twin Tub.
Value
The Costway Portable Mini Compact Twin Tub flips back and forth between good value and okay. It largely depends on your needs, budget, and available space. Do you already have a small dryer, and live in a small mobile home, or RV? Then the Costway Portable Washing Machine is perfect for you. Do you still need a dryer? Then you’re better off getting a Giantex Portable Mini Compact Twin Tub because it’s a mini washer dryer combo; it’s a compact washing machine with a secondary space for drying.

Given the Costway Mini Washing Machine’s so-so performance, we still found it to be worth its price. You’re getting what you paid for: a compact washer that can handle a small amount of clothes in the smallest space possible. If you’ve bought a compact dryer already, lacking a drier is negligible.
