Using your knees to control a fast-moving segway can spell disaster for those with and without experience. To make matters worse, it can cause unwanted pressure on individuals with sensitive knees. Where’s the fun in that? Instead, it’s better to rely on your hands with the ToLanbbt Handlebar Extension, connected to one of the best segways around.

Why We Like It – ToLanbbt Handlebar Extension Review

With its non-slip rubber handles and adjustable length, this Segway handlebar kit is equipped with amenities for the modern age, seen with its phone holder and ergonomic design.

Pros
  • Better control over a knee bar
  • Handlebar is adjustable
  • Includes a phone mount
Cons
  • Not all Segway models are supported
  • Handlebar lacks knee cushions

Performance

With its ergonomic design, the new handlebar by ToLanbbt Handlebar Extension was made incredibly easy to steer. This is because keeping balance rely on your hands, not your knees. A knee control bar can be hard to use, oftentimes cumbersome. Even worse, using the kneebar gets tiring; you could get fatigued rather quickly. That was never an issue with the Tolanbbt. It can extend to 45 inches and lowered to 33 inches, so it’s viable for both short and tall individuals. The handles have a non-slip rubber sleeve, which was very useful during rough terrain, making it easier to hold on.

Design

Made of aluminum alloy sturdy and durable is the name of the game. With such a material, the ToLanbbt Handlebar Extension is strong, but also very lightweight. At the same time, it’s really easy to install. Remove two hex nuts at the red metal base, slide the bar into the red base and reattach the hex nuts.

There is one itty bitty problem: the ToLanbbt Handlebar Extension is designed to only work with certain Segway scooters—specifically the Segway Ninebot Mini Pro, Segway Ninebot S, and the Segway MiniLITE.

Value

Comparing this with the AUBESTKER Handlebar Kickstand Kit, it’s a tough decision to make. Either one is a great addition to your compatible Segway. Because they’re so similar, it really comes down to the added features: that’s the rearview mirror and phone mount. Do you prefer a rearview mirror? Then go with the AUBESTKER. Would you rather have a phone mount? Then pick the ToLanbbt Handlebar Extension. In both cases, you’re getting a great handlebar with an ergonomic design that improves your stability and control.

ToLanbbt Handlebar Extension Review Wrap Up

With this handlebar reviewed, we conclude the ToLanbbt Handlebar Extension is a great tool to have, even with its limited compatibility. It takes those cheaper, more affordable Segway models and throws out knee control. While we would’ve liked knee cushions, the fact that pressure isn’t being applied to your knees is a blessing. It’s adjustable, so tall and short people can make use of it. And who doesn’t like a phone mount?
