To find the best blenders under $100 we narrowed our list to the top 25 units and tested them in a real-world setting to determine their true efficacy. To do this we spent 100s of hours making smoothies, flour, churning through kale, and everything in between to get a keen sense and understanding of what to look for in a good blender on a budget.

During our testing, we scored blenders based on their blending power, capacity, and programmable settings. We also factored in additional features like included accessories and blade design. After we drank our fill of smoothies and protein shakes, we landed on the NutriBullet Juicer NBR-12 as the best blender under $100. This solid little blender has a small footprint without sacrificing on any blending power. The blending jar also doubles as a smoothie cup and the whole blender comes with interchangeable blades. Keep reading this buying guide to learn more about the NutriBullet and our other top choices for the best blender.

We have a few friends that have used this kitchen blender, making smoothies and even rice flour. Rice flour, if you didn’t know, is no easy feat, so there is something to be said there alone. What we really like about this model is it’s small footprint and innovative design that allows you to use the blender jar as a drinkable cup. TopTenReviews for the most part liked this blender, rating it a 7.25/10. The biggest con they found was that not all fruit pulp was blended, which we found surprising since we know it’s capable of grinding rice to flour. Amazon customers on the other hand have reviewed this smoothie blender over 7,500 times giving it 4.1 out of 5 stars.

With over 1,400 reviews and a rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars on Amazon, you just can’t go wrong with this model. It’s footprint is a bit larger than the Nutribullet, but it costs the same at $79.99. What we like is that it offers 1000 watts of power and at a reasonably low price point.

The entire blender, including the jar (which is BPA free) is made of plastic. However, don’t be fooled. Reviews state that it hardly feels cheap and the super sharp blades, there are 3 of them lining the jar, are able to annihilate even the most fibrous of materials. What we really like, aside from the triple blade technology, is that the lid locks and flips open for easy pouring. While these might seem like moot features they’re not. And you’ll know this if you’ve ever had a blender lid fly off mid blend.

Last on our list is the Oster Pro 1200 blender. First things first: this blender costs just $60 with Amazon Prime and comes with a food processor attachment, and a limited warranty of 10 years.  It’s powerful, durable, with a good quality stainless steel blade, and great at blending a wide variety of food items. All in all, this is the best budget blender for smoothies and other food items, and you won’t want to miss it. Even better, the plastic exterior is easy to clean and super durable.

Some of the things we like about this blender – aside from the price – is the all glass jar and included 24oz personal jar which allows you to blend and go without any pouring. This countertop blender also boasts powerful motors (1200 watts) and a set of one-touch controls and smart settings technology. This technology allows you to blend a variety of things without needing to figure out just how long or hard you need to blend for. Lastly, it boasts a total of 7 blending speed controls – including both blend and pulse modes – for the maximum amount of flexibility.

Note: The Hamilton Beach 58148A (black & stainless steel) is a cheaper option with different speed settings, 12 functions for puree, smoothies, shakes, and crushing ice, although this blender is not so easy to use, and has a less powerful motor at 700 watts.
