If you are a beginner looking for the best blender with glass jar and possibly the best blender, the Oster Core 16-Speed Blender should absolutely be on top of your shortlist. It’s a blender that ticks pretty much all boxes to deserve its spot. It is very old, but there is no other blender that offers this many automatic modes at just $50 right now.

Why We Like It – Oster Core 16-Speed Blender

The Oster Core 16-Speed Blender is one of many old Oster blenders that still holds up to this day. As the name suggests, it features 16 different speed modes along with pulse control for the sole purpose of achieving a perfect blend for beginners.

Power

This blender comes with a 700 Watt motor built inside the base. While that’s fine for the price, the actual blending power turns out to be only 450 Watts. But do note that power isn’t everything. In retrospect, most blenders that are simply made better (or have more functions) have been able to produce better results compared to their more powerful counterparts. Still, if you are explicitly looking for more power, the Instant Ace blender would be a good alternative.

Speed

Fans of manual speed control would be disappointed by the lack of speed settings on this Oster blender. There are only two manual modes, “LOW” and “HIGH.” However, beginners would be overjoyed by the sheer amount of auto modes present on the control panel.

Durability

Durability is also another factor where this Oster blender hits a homerun for the most part. The 40 oz Boroclass glass jar might be small, but is thick and heavy as well. The stainless steel blades are also very durable. However, the base looks and feels cheaply made. If that really bothers you, go for the Instant Ace blender instead.

Versatility & Attachments

For a beginner, the 16 auto modes are excellent, to say the least. And on top of that, you get an easy self-cleaning mode too. But, the faceplates are seemingly randomized for each brand new order. So, you don’t really get to select the aesthetic to match with your kitchen.

Value

Even though it’s an old blender, at just $50, the Oster Core 16-Speed Blender offers many things that no other blender does. And if that was not enough, it also comes equipped with Oster’s 10 Year DURALAST All-Metal Drive limited warranty in the United States. Still, if you need something more modern and have a bit more money to spend, you can also buy the Oster Reverse Crush Blender.

Oster Core 16-Speed Blender Wrap Up

All in all, the Oster Core 16-Speed Blender is one of the better budget Oster blenders yet. It deserves to be on the best budget blenders list, without a doubt.
