When looking for a top-rated air purifier, or more specifically the best filterless air purifier, people probably want something that has impressive area coverage. The Mammoth air purifier is a fine purifier. It also has a lot of speed options for both the fan and ozone generator.

Why We Like It – Mammoth Air Purifier

The Mammoth air purifier has an incredible area coverage range, and a very simple control system in the form of 2 knobs, and it comes with a 1-year warranty. It doesn’t have a soldered-in power cord, so if there’s any damage to the cord, it can easily be replaced.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
  • Adjustable Ozone level
  • Extremely user friendly
Cons
  • Heavy for an air purifier

Power/speed

What makes air purifiers such as this one stand out is a feature known as an Ozone generator. The generator produces ozone air that exits the ozone plates located on the back of the purifier. In addition, users have the option to adjust the fan’s speed, with 10 speeds to choose from, unlike the Aeramax 300, which only has 3 speeds. The ozone generator also has 10 output settings for Ozone levels.

Efficiency(room size etc.)

This air purifier has an area coverage of 3,500 square feet at the most when both the fan and the ozone generator are used at the same time, surpassing the Silveronyx air purifier with a True HEPA filter, which has an area coverage of 500 square feet. Only our Medify air purifier review showcases an air purifier with a much larger room capacity at 3700 square feet. Fresh air can easily be distributed in a large house, or even a workplace, because of the Mammoth purifier’s option of having an adjustable fan speed as well as an adjustable generator output.

Versatility (HEPA, what does it filter, odor reduction, etc.)

While it doesn’t use a HEPA filter, it can filter through a variety of air contaminants. It captures mildew, mold, smoke, odors such as food and pet-related smells, and certain viruses and bacteria. Both the Mammoth and the Pure Enrichment air purifier filter can be used to kill microorganisms that can cause illnesses using radically different methods, but the Pure Enrichment air purifier can’t be used to filter mildew. Durability

Unlike the Pure car air purifier, the Mammoth purifier weighs 14.42 Lbs., which can be mainly contributed to the ozone system, the fan, and the sturdy wooden encasing. If you’d love a much compact purifier then you should check out our Levoit Smart Wifi air purifier review. Since it’s an air purifier, it will inevitably have weak points to allow the air to travel through it to be filtered. However, only the side where the air goes in is vulnerable. The side where the air goes out has a metal plate with much smaller holes to offer protection while allowing the air to exit.

Value

While it has a very simplistic way for the user to operate the purifier, there’s a lot that the machine can do despite the simplified controls and simple appearance. What mainly contribute to the overall cost of the purifier are the Ozone generator, the fan and ionizer, and the ceramic ozone plates. Keep in mind that the ozone plates should be treated like filters and should be washed every once in a while.

Mammoth Air Purifier Wrap Up

Customer reviews from the United States have mostly been positive, praising the verified purchase for its fast performance. One reviewer addressed that the area should be closed off if the ozone-generating feature is in use. Customers should remember to check the product information, as there are a couple of things you should do before using it.
