The Logitech Harmony Hub has a simple setup process but may earn a deduction in points because of the learning curve you’ll encounter with the harmony app. However, you can also add new devices through the Logitech Harmony Web Portal which is a bit more convenient. It’s essentially just a small black box measuring 4.9”x4.1”x1”, so it won’t take up much space in your home, and it uses bluetooth, infrared, and wi fi to communicate with the various devices. The Logitech Harmony comes with the Editor’s Choice Harmony Elite remote control, although the hub works without harmony remotes too. Unfortunately, the hub isn’t a full-on home automation hub without buying an additional extender to connect it to all your home entertainment devices. The Harmony Hub is already $80.00, so having to purchase this extender can be understandably irksome to some.
