If you’re wanting to rip up sand on the beach, the best electric beach cruiser bike is shaping up to be the Juiced City Scrambler. Its big mag wheels and 750W rear hub motor provide power and stability when kicking up sand. Once you touch the beach, you’ll be zipping around at 28mph, easily. That’s just as fast as the $2600 IZIP E3. Easy for people to pick it as the best electric bike for the beach.

Why We Like It – Juiced City Scrambler

Equipped with a 750W motor and 52V/19.2Ah battery, the Juiced City Scrambler can take you far, and fast. And its fat tires means going off-road, or on the beach, is as easy as pavement.

Pros
  • Powerful 750W rear hub motor
  • Zip around w/ top speed of 28mph
  • Can travel well over 50 miles
Cons
  • Rear light pulls power from the battery
  • A bit overpriced

The Juiced City Scrambler’s frame is made of 6061 aluminum, and there’s 78 pounds of it. That sounds heavy, and it is, but despite that, you can still push fast high speeds. The mag wheels are the MVP, being both thick and providing excellent grippage on various terrain, including sand. Performance (Speed & Acceleration)

The Juiced City Scrambler is one of the fastest e bikes we’ve seen. Picking up speeds of 28mph is not a problem, thanks to its powerful 750W motor. That’s three times the wattage of the Raleigh Retroglide IE.

Range & Battery

Not only is the Juiced Bikes CityScrambler one of the fastest, it also has an impressive range. Between its 13Ah battery and 19.2Ah battery, you can pull 45 or up to 70 miles per charge, respectively. Using pedal assist will net you more miles than going full throttle.

Safety Features

The Juiced City Scrambler comes with basic safety features. There’s a powerful 1050 lumen headlight, along with a tail light that draws its power from the battery. That isn’t an issue with Juiced Bikes Camp Scrambler, so it’s an odd design choice. For enhanced safety features on a sport utility e-bike, read the Juiced ripcurrent s review.

Value

There’s no doubt about it: the Juiced City Scrambler is an excellent electric bike. But is it good enough to warrant $1800? It’s even big enough for two people to sit on, and looks like a cross between an e-bike and motorcycle. Overall, we think it’s worth the price—especially considering the Surface 604 Colt is $2000 and is still outclassed by the City Scrambler.

Juiced City Scrambler Wrap Up

The Juice City Scrambler is one speedy motorcycle/e-bike hybrid creation, despite being 78 pounds. With its powerful 750W motor, hitting 28mph isn’t a big deal. And it’s battery can provide enough juice to travel 70 miles. While a tad overpriced, you get a 1-year warranty and free shipping.
