Durability & Build Quality
The Electra Townie Go 7D is more than just a 6061-T6 aluminum frame that can handle quite a bit of heat and weight. The crank, for example, is made of forged alloy, then fitted with double chainguards. The frame is then infused with Flat Foot technology for much better support, stability, and control.
Performance (Speed & Acceleration)
The Electra Townie Go 7D does well enough in the speed department. Its 250W hydrive rear hub motor can push the bike up to 20mph. That’s a good speed, despite such a lower wattage motor. Safety Features
For $1500 you’d think these e bikes would be full of features. Having excellent brakes is great and necessary, but that’s as far as it goes. You don’t even get headlights, forcing you to pay a bike shop.
Value
Despite its somewhat overpriced cost, the Electra Townie Go 7D is still a good bike, albeit void of features.
