The HP Printer can hold its own against most top-tier printers. It may not have advanced features like Alexa or Google Assistant capabilities, but it does have features not normally seen in entry-level printers, such as a 35-sheet document feeder. Why We Like It – HP OfficeJet Wireless Replenishment K7V40A

The HP OfficeJet K7V40A Office Printer takes great strides in making high quality prints and photos available to the general public. They have created a printer that’s inexpensive yet still carries many features not normally seen in this printer’s price range. However, if you want a more advanced printer, you may check out the Hp Pagewide Pro 477dw review.

Pros
  • Low Running Costs with Instant Ink Subscription
  • Easy to use and responsive touch screen
  • Great Print Quality
Cons
  • No Duplex Printing
  • Small Rear Paper Tray
  • Not Alexa or Google Assistant Compatible

Performance

The HP OfficeJet All-in-One Wireless Printer prints monochrome pages at 8.5 pages per minute and color pages at six pages per minute. However, it is possible to extend the print speed of monochrome pages to 13 pages per minute, which is phenomenal for a beginner All-in-One printer. Colour pages will stay steady at six pages per minute, though. Try the Brother Monochrome Laser Printer if you want faster printing. The K7V40A supplies superb copy and print quality and equally impressive photo output quality.

Design

The HP OfficeJet Wireless Printer gets a 35-sheet document feeder which is something not normally seen on entry-level printers. Be aware, though, that it only comes with a 60-sheet rear paper tray, which is smaller than average, as you will see in this Hp Officejet Pro 8620 e All in One Printer review. It also doesn’t possess auto-duplex printing, but that shouldn’t come as a surprise. Check out the HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Wireless Printer if you want two-sided printing. The K7V40A features a touch screen that wraps around the whole control panel. It’s monochrome and is simple to use and quite responsive.

Value

With an Instant Ink Subscription, running costs will remain low as the machine will order ink cartridges, both monochrome and tri color ink cartridges, at a discounted price. It comes with a single USB Port for connecting to a single PC. You can connect to the printer via wi fi for mobile printing and other HP apps. If you’re wanting or needing a printer that’s also Alexa and Google Assistant compatible, you should consider the HP Envy 5055 Wireless Printer.

HP OfficeJet Wireless Replenishment K7V40A Wrap Up

For an All-in-One Printer HP has really created a great machine that goes above and beyond any expectations. There have been some concessions, like a smaller than average paper tray, but what you get in return should easily make up for it. Features like a high print speed, low running costs, and a 35-page document feeder aren’t usually included in beginning printers, so we’re glad to see them here.
