Curtis Stone "Workbench" Cutting Board

Sometimes cooking takes more effort than going for a jog or scrubbing the bathtub.  And it’s really not the cooking part that’s the worst, it’s the cleanup, which can be painstaking if you don’t have dual sinks and a dishwasher too boot. Even the best plastic spray bottles can’t stand up to some of the worst kitchen mess’s.

This cutting board by Curtis Stone is true to its name “Workbench” and looks like it might take away some of the pain in cooking and all the while add some fun. If you want another way to spice up your cooking, also take a look at our Sous Vide Supreme review.  From a looks standpoint alone the Curtis Stone Workbench means business thanks to its chunky build, though note its size for the sake of storage.  The wood is Victorian ash, an Australian hardwood grown on an eco-sustainable plantation and won’t damage your cutlery – never use quality knives on a plastic cutting board unless you’re slicing poultry or meat.  Built into the cutting board are three 1-cup measuring cups.  When you’re done chopping you can just slide the minced vegetables into them using the included Pick Up scoop.  There is also a garbage hole for discarding useless bits, such as stems and seeds.  When it’s full or you’re done cooking, you just remove the drawer and drop the contents into the garbage. You can use this cutting board to cut up pizza toppings, and then use our tactical laser guided pizza cutter to make sure your slices are perfect.

The Curtis Stone Workbench cutting board sells for $299.95.
