TV speakers—even on $1000+ television sets—are notorious for being subpar to decent. If you want more punch out of your audio, but aren’t ready to invest in an entire surround system, the best home theater systems has to be the Bestisan 80W Sound Bar. Featuring 80W of power in a single wireless Bluetooth sound bar and Bluetooth 5.0, it’s just enough to sate your hunger.

Why We Like It – Bestisan 80W Sound Bar Review

A solid budget option with good sound and the right price. It’s a solid first step for those who want better sound quality out of their TVs, but aren’t ready to take the leap to an entire system.

Pros
  • Good sound quality
  • Uses Bluetooth 5.0
  • Affordable price
Cons
  • Soundbar only
  • Doesn’t have an HDMI port

Performance

For only a single soundbar, the Bestisan 80W surprised us. Sure, it isn’t banking on Dolby or DTS, but it does the job well when it comes to both music and especially movies, which is its strength. We really liked that treble and bass were adjustable. If you listen to music often, you’ll understand that EQ settings should never be rigid—they change based on the artist, something the JBL Bar 5.1 lacks. Lows and mids are where it focused the most, with highs being fairly neutral depending on what you have playing. But if you want to go all in on performance, the Nakamichi Shockwafe Elite Home Theater System is where it’s at.

Design

As we mentioned before, the Bestisan 80W Sound Bar is not an entire home theater system—it’s just the soundbar and a remote control. It might be one of the best soundbars, but audiophiles will certainly feel unfulfilled. Another misstep was connectivity options. You have access to RCA, AUX, Optical cable, USB and Bluetooth; HDMI is completely missing from the picture. So, if you have a Blu-Ray player, you’ll have to stick with inferior connections. If you want something more comprehensive and fulfilling, check out the Logitech Z906 5.1.

Value

We really liked the Bestisan 80W Sound Bar for what it set out to accomplish: an affordable sound bar with good audio quality. Its performance and overall high-quality design made us smile, more so with the price being under $80. Is it the best home theater system? No—but if budget is a concern, and you just want something a little more out of your audio quality, we recommend the Bestisan 80W Sound Bar any day of the week.

Bestisan 80W Sound Bar Review Wrap Up

The Bestisan 80W Sound Bar did its job admirably, without bells and whistles to prop it up. It has good sound quality and transmits through Bluetooth 5.0. Is it missing a few features we would’ve wanted, like additional speakers and HDMI? Yes, but its overall performance, design, and price make up for it.
