Performance
If you already have Apple TV then the real question is, how come you don’t have Apple TV Plus yet? Unsurprisingly, the streaming service performs its best on the Apple device. (Speaking of which, you can watch Apple TV content on any Apple device, like iPhone and iPad, through the Apple TV app.)
Since this new Apple streaming platform is, well, new…potential users may be unsure of what content the tech giant offers. Your uncertainty will be squashed when you hear the lineup of original shows available only through Apple TV Plus. Oprah Winfrey has a new show exclusive to Apple. Little America is another show offering heartfelt, inspiring stories of people across America. Mythic Quest is a laugh out loud comedy that has received great critical feedback. Dickinson is the tale of Emily Dickinson as played by hit actress Hailee Steinfeld. Oh, and of course The Morning Show with Jennifer Aniston, which won a Golden Globe.
You get the picture. The list of TV Apple has come out with goes on and on. Kind of like Netflix, Apple is banking on original TV shows for its success, and so far, it’s nailing the performance.

Design
Apple extends the thoughtful user interface Apple TV users are accustomed to to its streaming platform. The design is pure Apple design. It flows intuitively and looks great.
It’s a much sexier, smoother design than Prime Video and even edges out Netflix. The TV app and web browser both interface well and are great for video streaming and TV streaming on the go. For those without Apple devices, fear not. You can watch Apple TV Plus on Amazon Fire TV, Roku, and more (which is good, because devices like Fire TV are much cheaper than Apple TV).
Value
Even though Apple is known for being super premium, its streaming service is surprisingly affordable. In fact, it’s the most affordable of all of the streaming services at under $5.00 per month. It’s definitely a great value if you get into the original shows and the movies available. Luckily, you can get a seven-day free trial to figure it out before you start paying.
