Performance

Starting with video quality, let’s talk night vision. These ANNKE cameras already display great night vision on their own, but are further enhanced with its smart IR, which adjusts the picture accordingly for the best picture. The ANNKE Camera System doesn’t just adjust night vision either. During the day, low light shows can be brightened with digital WDR, while 3D DNR ensures the video doesn’t have a gross amount of image noise. In other words, the ANNKE Home Security Camera System did all it can to create a balanced, clear image, day and night. It gave the Blink XT2 3 Camera System a run for its money.

Design

When it came to design, we saw a striking resemblance to the HeimVision HM241 1080p, except it’s black; in fact, it’s arguably a better camera than that. It, like the AMICCOM Home Security Camera suffers from one itty bitty problem: connectivity. The ANNKE cameras aren’t wireless, nor do they run on batteries. If you plan on taking advantage of their IP66 waterproofing, you’ll need to connect them to a power source. This was the same issue that plagued the Ring Indoor Home Security Camera, but that was strictly indoors.

Value

Out of all the security camera systems on our list, the ANNKE Security Cameras have one of the best deals. It’s a sizable sum up front—not everyone can immediately spend $213, but it’s worth the price. For starters, you get 8 cameras. So you’re spending about $26 per camera. That’s already a great deal, but ANNKE makes it better by tossing in a 1 TB hard drive DVR. Having a hard drive was something we wished the Ring Indoor Home Security Camera would’ve included. Altogether that gives ANNKE Security System superb value.

ANNKE Home Security Camera System Review Wrap Up

The ANNKE Home Security Camera System brings so much to the table that it’s hard to not to consider it one of the best or the best security system for its price range. Eight surveillance cameras with IP66 water resistance and 1 TB hard drive for $213? That is an amazing deal. It completely makes up for its lack of wireless and connection to an electrical outlet.
