Sneakers have come a long way. No long just a fashion statement or a way to protect your feet, sneakers have evolved to enhance the lives of the wearers, featuring the latest technology to help you run faster, more comfortably and to improve your overall well being. Of course, sneaker heavy-hitters Nike and adidas have quite a few impressive technological advancements with their sneaker models (which is why they have several models in our list), while others are creating their own niches like Vibram’s 5 Finger shoes.
