The Swagboard Twist T881 is a decent entry-level self balancing scooter that should get you through the ones-and-twos of riding a hover board especially if you’ve never done it before. It weighs in at 22 pounds making it pretty easy to carry around, and gets you moving at a maximum speed of 7 miles per hour. The hoverboard is sturdy enough to sustain a maximum capacity of up to 200 pounds, and should take no more than 4 hours to get to a full charge. Why We Like It – Swagboard Twist T881

This Swagtron Swagboard takes the guesswork out of hoverboarding through its automatic self balancing technology, and comes with two 250W motors that pack enough punch to power you through your neighbourhood to the envy of all your friends.

Pros
  • Self balancing on startup for easy mounting
  • ABS polymer frame for good impact resistance
  • UL2272 certified
Cons
  • No Bluetooth Speakers

Performance

Mounting and dismounting this hoverboard is easy thanks to its startup self balancing technology which automatically balances it upright as soon as it gets turned on. This shortens how long you’ll take to get used to riding. With a battery life that lasts up to 4.8 miles per charge, it won’t be long before you get really good. The Swagboard Twist hoverboard packs two 250W motors that create enough power to propel its 6.5-inch wheels forward (same size as the wheels on the Tomoloo Hoverboard with LED Lights), and it’s lithium-free battery only takes about 5 hours to get charged up.

Design

The Swagtron T881 hoverboard is a compact looking model that’s available in Blue, Black or Red, and has an ABS polymer frame that is strong enough to support riders of up to 200 pounds. Just like those on the XPRIT hoverboard, it’s LED lights keep your path in sight after sunset, and its rubber tires will never really go flat. The T881 hoverboard also comes with LED wheel lights, which is a nice touch for anyone who wants to stand out from the pack.

Value

Like most hoverboards in the market today, the Twist T881 as well as the Tomoloo Self Balancing Hoverboard are UL2272 certified, meaning they’ve been put through rigorous safety tests to ensure high quality performance and prove that it’s safe for your 8, 9 or 10 year old to use. The T881 lithium-free batteries are one of the measures that have been applied towards this, and being lithium-free means that they’re less likely to overheat.

Swagboard Twist T881 Wrap Up

As you’ve hopefully found out in this hoverboard review, the Swagtron Swagboard Twist T881 is an excellent choice for beginner riders, and can be ordered off of Amazon com from anywhere in the world you might be. Business owners that are already part of the Amazon Associates Program (by Amazon Services LLC), also have a lot to gain from selling the Twist T881 lithium-free hoverboard since it’s already a hit with first time customers, and could stay that way for a long time.
