Performance
The SUNER Power Solar Battery Maintainer provides enough power to charge 12V batteries—6 watt solar power, to be specific. That’s also more than enough to keep batteries in vehicles and tools like mowers from dying when not in use for prolonged lengths of time. The solar battery trickle charger provides just a small amount over time. Blocking diodes even prevent reverse discharging. However, that’s in an ideal situation. When it’s cloudy, this solar car battery charger maintainer does have its performance gimped, considering it can’t soak in as much solar energy. For more serious jump-start power, the DieHard 71219 Battery Charger Maintainer is a better option.
Design
Solar panels can be fragile pieces of equipment, so SUNER POWER fitted this solar panel kit with ABS plastic, in addition to stronger solar glass with higher load properties, whereas Sunway Solar tends to use seemingly flimsy plastic. In each corner is a hole where suction cups can be attached, which can then be sanctioned to your car winder. This solar charger has rather small clamps, which can make it difficult to wield, unlike the Ampeak Battery Charger Maintainer Automatic. Typical of most solar battery chargers, easy installation is natural. Either use the clamps or the cigarette lighter attachment to juice your mowers, cars motorcycles’ battery life.

The SUNER POWER Solar Battery Maintainer has quite a bit to offer in its rather small kit. Taking into consideration its wattage, ability to charge 12V wt, gel, SLA, AGM, and deep cycle batteries, and overall sturdy design, we’d say this is probably one of the best solar charger maintainers you can get. And if extra juice is a concern, SUNER POWER offers 8, 12, and 14 Watt models. We do suggest you pick up a charge controller to be your battery indicator.
