The KeyMission is waterproof, shockproof, and freezeproof without needing to use an extra case. It shoots some of the best still images for an action camera, almost 24 megapixels of sharp photos. The main downside is that the battery life is only about an hour on a full charge, though you can get up to 2 hours if you play with the settings. The Nikon KeyMission 360 is one of the most expensive action cameras on the market (as opposed to the Dragon Touch 4K Action Camera, which is one of the cheapest), and Amazon reviews complain about subpar connectivity to the smartphone app. You need to purchase a special underwater lens separately, which eliminates the 360 capability. Extra lens protectors are also sold separately. While the video quality is stellar, the $500 price tag and compatibility issues drastically decreases the value of this action cam.
