What makes the Miele Complete C3 Marin arguably the best vacuum for allergies is its ability to capture a large portion of lung-damaging particles. One moment you’re cleaning carpets, the next you’re vacuuming hard floors, a must-have for the best vacuum for pet hair and the best pet vacuum. Packed full of useful features, it isn’t hard to see why it’s the best canister vacuum. For more household cleaning machines, check out our best vacuum cleaner reviews.

Why We Like It – Miele Complete C3 Marin

You aren’t just cleaning the carpets and hard flooring of your house when using the Miele Complete C3 Marin, you’re also reducing lung-damaging particles and leaving behind cleaner air than before.

Pros
  • 99.9% particles capture by AirClean filtration system
  • Easy turning w/ Parquet Twister floor brush
  • 36-inch operating radius
Cons
  • Uses vacuum bags
  • Expensive

Power, Speed & Efficiency

When allergies are a bother, the HEPA filter AirClean sealed system is one of the greatest features of Miele Canister Vacuums. The Miele HEPA AirClean filter is like having air purifiers in your home, capturing up to 99.9% of lung-damaging particles, a common trait the best-bagged vacuum needs. With its vortex motor, Miele Marin Vacuum’s performance continues across all surfaces, a staple of the best vacuum for carpet needs. This best Miele vacuum has a 36-inch operating radius, which is great, especially with a flexible crevice nozzle. Combine that with its 180-degree Parquet Twister floor brush, and cleaning becomes a cinch. You also get a SEV236 Electro Premium brush with LED lighting.

Bin Capacity, Maintenance & Durability

Miele Marin C3 Canister Vacuum Cleaners are primarily made of plastic, which is standard at this point. If you take care of it, you can get 20 years of use out of it. Maintenance is lower than bagless vacuums due to the use of vacuum bags. Each bag holds 4.5 liters, which is nearly 1.2 gallons, a sizable capacity that’s only 1.5 liters smaller than the Miele Dynamic U1 cat/dog upright vacuum.

Value

It would be hyperbolic to say Miele Vacuums are the “best vacuums”. Even the Kenmore Elite Vacuum can compete for almost neck-and-neck. But as a HEPA vacuum, combined with air purifiers, you can create a clean air environment that you wouldn’t otherwise have. Sure, it’s expensive, but so is the iRobot Roomba 960 Robot Vacuum, and that doesn’t have HEPA filters. What you do need to keep in mind is the extra cost of bags.

Miele Complete C3 Marin Wrap Up

The Miele Complete C3 Marin is expensive, there’s no doubt about that. And the extra cost of vacuum bags shouldn’t be ignored. However, its ability to capture 99.9% of lung-damaging particles isn’t something to scoff at. It can be a real threat without proper airflow, so having a device that drastically cuts down on airborne pollutants is invaluable.
