The canister will have to be cleaned and the filter rinsed every now and then. Durability is surprisingly good. It’s a combination of ABS and PP plastics, with a splash of metal and rubber. It doesn’t fall into the same pit as cordless vacuum cleaners because its power is derived from a cord, not batteries—but does have too few attachments. Still, you’ll always get consistent performance, provided you keep the filter and dustbin clean. For smart homes, there’s more value from an iRobot Roomba 675.
