Why We Like It – LG Refrigerator
The LG Bottom Freezer Refrigerator and many other LG products have performed well through standardized lab testing and, really, the fridges are just very appealing to gaze upon. There is ample storage space and the black stainless steel looks sleek and stylish (even more so than regular old stainless steel).

Performance
The LG French Door Refrigerator comes with the water dispenser built-in. Years ago this would have been a premium feature but now it’s pretty standard. The joys of the future. Remember that this is a bottom freezer refrigerator, like the Whirlpool Bottom Freezer Refrigerator, and not a top freezer. It seems this is a matter of preference as one isn’t really better than the other. The ice dispenser, on a final note, can store an impressive 2.8 pounds of ice and can make upwards of 4.5 pounds of ice per day.
Design
The LG Fridge is a door-in-door, counter depth refrigerator with the side of the fridge housing 4 split shelves (3 fixed, 1 folding). Try the Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator if you’re looking for a side by side refrigerator. It comes in black stainless steel, which may be just slightly more difficult to add to your decor but shouldn’t be that difficult, which includes all the annoying things about cleaning stainless steel. The fridge does have ample storage space though. About 13 cu. Ft. in the freezer and 16.8 cu. Ft. in the refrigerator proper.

Value
LG Refrigerators are Energy Star certified, which is always nice for your electric bill. Customer service is available via phone, email, twitter (amazingly), and live chat. Unfortunately, the live chat is just an AI-powered bot. Customer service doesn’t have a good track record either, if the comments from the site are something to go by, as complaints are still being handled from days ago and months ago. It comes with a one year warranty on parts and labor, seven years on the sealed system, and 10 years on linear compressor. The KitchenAid Counter Depth Refrigerator is a similar styled refrigerator if the customer service reviews are a turn-off for you.

The LG Refrigerator is a top-notch refrigerator with excellent built-in features and a gorgeous design. The brand has seen some recalls, so you would think they would be a little more generous with their parts and labour warranty, but perhaps this is a sign that things have changed and there will be much fewer recalls than before?
