If you need to back up your documents or store some of your pictures, HD videos, or music, the Kingston Canvas Select 32GB is worth a look. It has a speed class of 10 and is only marginally slower than the more expensive Kingston Select Plus MicroSD cards. This card made our best micro SD card list because of its durability

Why We Like It – Kingston Canvas Select 32GB MicroSDHC

The Canvas Select 32 GB microsd card has enough space for most day to day tasks like backing up data, and storing videos, music, and pictures. The Kingston Canvas Select range sits below the Canvas React, Canvas Go, and Canvas Select Plus SD cards, but still offers decent speeds.

Pros
  • Affordable Price
  • Compatible with most devices
  • Very Durable
Cons
  • Not ideal for 4K recording
  • Not the fastest memory card
  • Questionable long-term durability

Performance

This memory card has good performance and should be enough for most daily tasks. The 32GB capacity isn’t the biggest but should be enough for thousands of songs and phones or a few HD videos. The Kinston Canvas Select also comes with a read speed of up to 80MB/s and a write speed of up to 10MB/sec. If you need lots of space, or to record in 4K, the SanDisk ultra 256gb microsdxc might be a better option.

Design

The Kingston Canvas Select Comes in Kingston’s traditional black color with all the usual markings designating class, capacity, etc. It weighs just 0.06 ounces and measures 0.59 x 0.04 x 0.43-inches. One of the best things about this stick is the durability. It has IEC/EN 60529 IPX7 certification and can withstand water, extreme temperatures, shock, and magnets. It also comes with a lifetime warranty. If you need a faster card, please try the Samsung 128gb micro sd.

Value

The Canvas Select range represents the most budget-friendly cards in the Kingston lineup. Despite the price, this card still has an adequate storage space of 32GB with a read speed of up to 80MB/sec, and a write speed of up to 10MB/sec. This card is also very durable and is resistant to water, shock, magnets, and temperature. It’s versatile enough to store your documents, HD videos, photos, and music. The Kingston Canvas Select 32 GB has great value and gives the silicon power micro sd a run for its money.

Kingston Canvas Select 32GB MicroSDHC Wrap Up

The Kingston Canvas Select 32GB is compatible with most devices and can be used to store your full HD videos, music, photos, and other documents. It has decent read and write speeds, and is resistant to elements like temperature and water. While this SD card might not be suitable for 4K recording, it works well on countless other applications.
