Design

The design of this Insignia Fire TV edition is similar to most other smart TVs like the TCL 32S327 Roku. It comes in full black with the obligatory black plastic. The front bezel has an attractive wood grain finish, while the stands come in sturdy gloss plastic. The Insignia has two different panels with various ports. The panel on the left houses a USB port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and two USB ports. The panel on the right has an ethernet port, a set of AV ports, an antenna connector, and another HDMI port.

Value

Value plays a big part in all TV reviews. The Insignia represents good value because it packs lots of features in a well-built package. At 50-inches the screen size is adequate and it also has stunning 4K Ultra HD resolution. The sound quality is also great with two built-in eight-watt speakers providing a rich audio experience. The Insignia TV also stands out in the connectivity department. It can connect through the ethernet port or wireless, and also supports Alexa voice control.
