In terms of performance, this HP Printer functions at a print speed of 10 pages per minute for black and white printing, and 7 pages per minute for color printing. A lot of people would consider the HP Envy as having relatively low print speeds, but then again, this is to be expected from inkjet printers. Design
As most home printers should be, the HP Envy bears a modern, attractive design that is sure to fit in well with your home’s interior decor. The HP Printer is also more compact than the Brother Monochrome Laser Printer, with a small size that won’t take up much of your space. It’s top lid lifts up to allow for copying and scanning, while the fact that it doesn’t have an Automatic Document Feeder also helps maintain its small figure. The HP Envy measures 5 by 17.5 by 14.4 inches, and is controlled through its 2.2 monochrome display. Though some people might take some time to get used to the small screen, we found it to be up to task and easy to use.

If you go ahead and purchase this printer, you should consider subscribing to HP’s instant ink program. This program allows the printer to send feedback directly to HP about the levels of its black ink cartridge or tri color cartridge and order for refills whenever the ink levels are low. In terms of connectivity, the HP printer is capable of connecting to WiFi networks, and has support for third party apps such as Apple AirPrint, Mopria, and the HP Smart app. Its monthly duty cycle of 1000 pages is similar to that of the HP OfficeJet 5255, and is very good for low volume printing.
