Last week HP re-released their 15.6-inch Envy 15 and 17.3-inch Envy 17 laptops with the latest Intel 4th generation “Haswell” processor. Previous coupon that has appeared for the Envy 15 and Envy 17 ranges anywhere from a flat $100 off, to 5%, 15%, and even a 20% coupon. You’ll find the latest price info listed below.
This week HP slashed prices for those fortunate enough to find the deals: a $75 coupon and a $150 coupon code (depending on your configuration), making some pretty hot discounts only a week after the Envy 15 and 17 launch date. Update: The latest Envy 15 and 17 discount is now listed below.
HP Envy 15 (2013)

The new base model Haswell equipped HP Envy 15 was listed originally for $778.99 (without GPU and FHD panel!) but now you can take advantage with coupon NB1615. This PC at HP has a boatload of customization options, depending on your performance needs.
For the price above, you get a FHD panel on this 15-inch laptop, a rarity for a 4th Gen i7 equipped laptop at below the $800 mark. Discrete GPU for the laptop comes in the form of a GeForce GT 740M, and 8GB of RAM comes standard (plenty for multitasking), though you can choose to upgrade the RAM to 1 DIMM so you can add in another 8GB stick later. The hard drive is a 1 terabyte HDD, and if you add the option of the extra 24GB mSSD hard drive accleration cache, bootup can be significantly faster. Additional upgrades include the backlit keyboard option plus Bluetooth, both are practical option to grab if you need the feature.
For those looking for a more complete Windows 8 experience, you can also opt for the touchscreen version of the Envy 15 aka Envy Touchsmart 15. This ticks the price up by only a bit more than the model we have listed above. Note though that mSSD, Bluetooth, and backlit keyboard aren’t added in this config linked.

Supersize the Envy 15 with 2 more inches and you’ll get the Envy 17, and like the little brother, it’ll be packed with Beats Audio speakers (4 of them) plus HP’s Triple Bass Reflex Subwoofer (2 of them – yep, subwoofers on a laptop).
For the extra space, you’ll get a much better keyboard coverage plus Blu-ray drive option. Right off the bat, the base configuration starts out at $899.99, a price tag heftier than most PC laptops. But the good news is you never have to pay MSRP. Add in a 1080p/discrete graphics option to make it more capable in playing games will bumps the price up, but again, the discount scales if you upgrade. If you decide to add more flare, the coupon listed above is a flat 15% off so it’ll apply towards any add-ons too.
We’re a bit surprise that you won’t be able to choose a stronger GPU with the bigger Envy 17 (given there’s more room for power and heat hungry components). If you choose to not upgrade to the FHD panel, standard panel resolution on the Envy 17 is HD+ 900p (1600 x 900). mSSD cache option is also available. At $804.99, its a good candidate for those looking at a 4th Gen Intel desktop replacement machine.
