The Homasy Humidifier and Diffuser offers a lot of interesting features at a very convenient price. Believe it or not an adjustable nozzle isn’t as common in humidifiers as you might think. And neither is a sleep mode for quieter operation during sleep. Check out our best humidifier baby list for great humidifiers for your young one!

Why We Like It – Homasy Humidifier and Diffuser

The Homasy Cool Mist Humidifier takes some bold jumps with their design that certainly do pay off when it comes to value. At $34.00, it’s hard to justify not buying it to see if a humidifier is right for you. And with a waterless shut off feature for added safety and the ability to add essential oils without a separate tray, what’s there to lose?

Pros
  • Sleep Mode for Quieter Operation
  • Doesn’t Need Separate Tray for Essential Oils
  • Fully Adjustable Nozzle
Cons
  • Small Water Tank
  • Could Mean You Need More Oil in the Water
  • Not Certified BPA Free

Performance

The Homasy Humidifier contains a waterless auto shut off feature that kicks in when there’s no water in the water tank. This is great for preventing the unit overheating, becoming damaged, and even saves energy by preventing static electricity usage. The unit also comes with a sleep mode for greater automation and less sound when you’re sleeping. This is especially good if you decide you want the humidifier in your baby’s room. The tank is a little small though (2.5 litres), so consider the Homech Cool Mist Humidifier if you want a large tank for continuous use.

Design

Instead of coming with an essential oil diffuser like most modern humidifiers, the Homasy Humidifier makes you mix the essential oils directly with the water when you fill it up. It’s good, because there are less components to clean, but difficult because the water can diffuse the oil too much and leave you with only a very mild smell. You would have to pour in a lot of oil as a result. Check out Levoit Humidifiers if you want a separate essential oil diffuser.

Value

The water tank may be small, but it’s translucent. This means it’s easy to see if it’s running low or getting dirty and needs a refill or a cleaning. The nozzle sprays at a maximum rate of 180mL, which is a little on the slow side, but the nozzle is fully adjustable so you can spray wherever you want. The noise level clocks in at a measly 28dB. But if you want something even quieter, even if it’s just slightly, check out the SUNLUNA SL AH001 Ultaasonic Humidifier Operation.

Homasy Humidifier and Diffuser Wrap Up

The interesting and plentiful features on the Homasy Humidifier and Diffuser do come at a price. The water tank is small, but you can get over that. But the fact that it’s not fully certified BPA free is the most worrisome. If you don’t want accidental leaked plastic in your air, be sure not just to clean your unit, but completely replace it at regular intervals too.
