The Elegiant SR300 computer speaker is an affordably priced option for anyone that doesn’t want to cough up too much money for a speaker set, but still wants to be guaranteed good quality stereo sound. Unlike the Bose Companion 2 Series III Multimedia speakers, the SR300 is USB-powered, and can work with any audio source as long as there is a 3.5mm audio port on it. For those who would prefer to plug in their headset or earphones, the SR300 also comes with a headphone jack for that. Each speaker offers about 5 Watts of sound, and with Bluetooth streaming capabilities, you won’t have to depend on a wired connection to have your music playing through them.

Design
In terms of design, the Elegiant speakers really stand out mainly because of the LED lights that light up when it comes on. The SR300 speakers come in a case that’s made out of high-quality ABS varnish, which allows them to last for a long time without wearing out. Aside from that, the speakers look quite nice and elegant, and are only available in black. The controls are found on the right speaker and they appear as a series of buttons running down its midsection in a format that doesn’t look too different from the overall design. Since these Elegiant speakers are USB powered just like the AmazonBasics USB-powered PC computer speakers, you have the option of plugging its USB cable into the USB port on your computer, but you’ll still have to connect the 3.5mm cable as well because the USB cable is only good for power. After you’ve made the connections, you’ll just need to long-press the power button, and the speakers will be ready for action. ”
