Performance

Being a convection microwave oven, the CMW-200 works by using a fan to circulate heated air and a radiofrequency energy to cook, bake or heat the food. This cooks food faster and better than a regular microwave would. The Cuisinart CMW-200 microwave also comes with a reversible grill rack which you can use to grill your food, and up to 9 preset cooking options that you can choose from. In addition, this convection microwave also allows you to defrost either by weight or by time, and has an oven capacity of 32 litres which is great for large meals, and a lot more than the 23 litres you get with the Panasonic NN-SN966S.

Design

Like most convection ovens, the Cuisinart CMW-200 microwave features a dark tinted glass, and right next to it, an LCD display with touchpad controls. It’s inside is made of stainless steel just like the Toshiba EM925A5A-SS Microwave, and in there you’ll find a 12 inch glass tray and a reversible grill rack that doubles your cooking space. Its convection feature forces it to take up slightly more space than a conventional microwave, so it’s also not advisable to mount it onto a cabinet because of the heat it might emit.

Value

Compared to other microwave ovens, the CMW-200 tries a lot harder to get more things done. Granted, the Cuisinart CMW-200 microwave oven is not a toaster oven, but it can still toast your bread one side at a time as though you were grilling it. It can also be programmed to automatically initiate a cooking process, as it allows for with up to 3 cooking sequences. You also get more one-touch buttons than the GE JNM3163RJSS Microwave, making it much more versatile in the kitchen.

Cuisinart CMW-200 Wrap Up

Cooking gets easier with the Cuisinart CMW-200, so getting it will save you a lot of time and offer a lot of convenience. It’s easy to use even if you’re not an expert chef, though its 1000 watt power limit may sound a bit low to some people. Either way, there’s very little you can’t do with it, making it a great addition to your kitchen.
