With this mattress, Allswell has stepped up their game and is really bringing it to their competition. While there are still some things they need to work on, like better motion transfer, their copper and charcoal-infused gel means the memory foam won’t absorb heat like they tend to do. Check out our best mattresses list to see how it stacks up!

Why We Like It – Allswell Mattress

Allswell memory foam mattresses are medium firm and great for a variety of sleeping positions, especially those of you who weigh more than 230 pounds and like to sleep on your back. It always doesn’t absorb heat, like most memory foam mattresses do, thanks to charcoal and copper-infused gel which gives the mattress a leg up over the competition.

Pros
  • Firmer Mattress that is conducive to most sleep positions
  • Reliable edge support
  • Incredibly useful website
Cons
  • 100-day sleep trial
  • Product availability can be sparse

Performance

Allswell Mattresses are great for back sleepers, particularly those who have a body weight of 230 pounds or more as it provides pressure relief and spinal support. Side sleepers will find the bed comfortable, but those under 130 pounds may find the firm feel of the memory foam mattress to be slightly uncomfortable. Firm mattresses are also great for stomach sleepers. Unfortunately, because of the relatively thin comfort layers, the Allswell foam mattresses motion transfer is a bit higher than other hybrid mattresses. But it has individually wrapped coils which alleviates motion transfer somewhat. Also try looking at mattress reviews for the Casper Mattress, another popular hybrid mattress brand.

Design

The Allswell Mattress boasts reliable edge support thanks to the higher-gauge coils on each side of the bed. The memory foam layer at the top consists of 2” of memory foam. The gel memory foam is also infused with copper and charcoal gel to make it cooler. You may hear some squeaks thanks to the pocketed coils but it is significantly quieter than other innerspring mattresses would make. Value

The Allswell Home website is particularly useful as it gives you detailed information on their mattress models such as the Allswell Luxe Hybrid and Allswell Supreme. The Allswell Hybrid mattress comes with a 10-year warranty and Allswell offers a 100-day trial period. A new mattress takes 1-2 business days to process an order and 2-7 for delivery. If 10 years isn’t enough for you, Puffy Lux Mattress offers a lifetime warranty, so check them out. Allswell mattresses come at an attractive price point depending on a few factors like size (twin XL or queen size, for example) and thickness of the comfort layers. They shouldn’t run you more than $1,000 though, even for a top of the line queen mattress. For exquisite living, you should have a look at the Provençal bedroom review.

Allswell Mattress Wrap Up

While a few things keep the Allswell Mattress from achieving true greatness, like it’s lackluster motion transfer, other innovative features, like the charcoal and copper, bring it up ahead of their competition. If they can keep themselves stocked full of mattresses when people want them they’ll really be in business.
