Alera Neratoli Build Quality And Design

This task chair is a beauty. That waterfall design is very attractive and as an added benefit it helps to relieve pressure on the knees. There’s no denying that the Alera Neratoli Series Midback Swiveltilt chair is inviting. Luckily, it also turns out that it is very durable as well and stain-resistant. Assembly is easy and another ice design choice is the fact that you can choose to assemble the Neratoli Series Midback Swiveltilt chair with or without the arms. Alera Neratoli Office Chair Adjustability

The Alera Neratoli may be well designed, but it does lack adjustability. And one thing that bothered me is that the seat tilt can’t be locked. What you see is pretty much what you get here. The arms can be left off or added when you build it. You can also adjust the height, but that’s it. I would have liked to have more adjustments.

Performance

Despite its almost complete lack of adjustments, I found the Midback Swiveltilt chair to be a comfortable chair. But only to a point. After a few hours, it does feel uncomfortable, but I think that is mostly due to the padding. It could use more in the seat cushion. So you may want to get up more often to use the best paper shredders and do other chores.

Up until that point, it’s a comfortable chair that feels good. It is easy to assemble and I like that the arms can be left off if you don’t want them. For the price, this is among the best desk chairs.

Bottom Line

For a chair under $300, I think the Alera Neratoli series is worth the purchase. Sure, it isn’t perfect. I wish it were comfortable for longer periods of time for instance, but I feel like it is a quality chair for the price. It has a great design, durable material, stain resistance, and a few basic features. It’s better than most drafting chairs, gaming chairs, or reclining office chairs. But keep in mind the best office stability chair could mean the difference between a slouched back and an active, engaged core to improve alertness and concentration on tasks.
