Dark Knight Rises and BANE Flash Drives Arrive (video)

USB flash drives are generally square, boring, plastic pieces of kit.  Those with fingerprint readers add a ton more security, while others slide out from a sheath increasing the drive’s durability.  However, we’d rather use MIMOBOT’s drives, which to this day have come in a variety of flavors, though we’ve seen fit to feature the Star Wars versions given our geek penchant.

Today, the company announced a whole new slew of MIMOBOT Flash Drives in capacities of up to 64GB.  While the “Flash” and “Superman” will always have a spot in our hearts, we can’t help but focus our attention on The Dark Knight Rises and BANE flash drives (the movie arrives in just over a month’s time).  In MIMOBOT fashion, the heads of these drives are removable, which reveal the flash drive’s connector.  Each drive comes preloaded with bonus Mimory and mimoDesk suites of screensavers, avatars, and wallpapers to match their respective super hero.  Surprisingly, the BANE drive will only be produced in a limited edition run of 500 units, though we don’t see these drive’s becoming collector items any time soon.

The MIMOBOT DC Comic Flash Drives are available now and start at about $13.
