If you’re looking for the best portable chargers on a budget, the Yoobao Portable Charger 10000mAh makes a pretty good argument. Not only is it packing a 10000mAh capacity, it comes with two USB ports for charging two separate devices, safeguards to prevent overcharging (and more) and a tiny flashlight for intense, horror moments.

Why We Like It – Yoobao Portable Charger 10000mAh

An overall good performing power bank, with 10000mAh capacity, the ability to charge two devices at one, and a flashlight for what-if moments.

Pros
  • Can charge two devices at once
  • Has a mini-flashlight
  • Built-in safeguards for charging protection
Cons
  • Bulky design

Performance

In terms of performance, the Yoobao Portable Charger 10000mAh is rocking a really good battery. With that kind of capacity, you can get anywhere between 2 to 3 full charges off of it—though it varies depending on the device. For $22, that’s pretty good, especially in times of need, like on a long trip. The Anker PowerCore 20100mAh, however, has double the Yoobao’s capacity and then some, making it ideal for charging more than one device. To keep from wasting the charge, there are safeguards in place that prevent overcharging, over-discharging, over-voltage, overcurrent and short circuiting.

Design

By comparing the Yoobao Portable Power Bank with the Jackery Portable Charger, you’ll realize just how bulky this external battery backup is. It’s relatively lightweight at 9.52 ounces, but across a dimension of 5.39 x 2.32 x 0.87 inches. This is something you’d slip in your pocket, but rather a backpack or purse. Along the bottom are two USB ports, one micro USB input, and a flashlight. Since it’s a USB port, devices such as iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy cell phones are supported.

Value

For $22, you’re getting a really good portable power bank. It has a 10,000mAh capacity, making it capable of charging devices up to 3 times, depending on the device. It has a built-in flashlight for “what-if” moments, and can be handy in a pinch. Unfortunately, better choices are available. The INIU Portable Charger has the same capacity, is slimmer in design, and can charge devices 1.4x faster through UPower+ technology—for $30! If you can spend the extra cash, go with INIU, if not, the Yoobao is still a great option.

Yoobao Portable Charger 10000mAh Wrap Up

For what it’s worth, the Yoobao Portable Charger 10000mAh is still a good companion to have, even with arguably better options—if the extra money can be spent. Its bulky design can be ignored if you plan on packing it in luggage, too. For $22, you get a high-capacity power bank, equipped with a flashlight, safeguard protections, and two USBs for twice the charging.
