If you lean closer to camera tech, finding the best Chinese smartphone is harder than ever. But we have a suggestion for you: the Vivo Mobile Phone. The X50 Pro uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G to run the backend, while the camera itself uses a gimbal system for better snaps. It has several features that make it a top-rated smartphone.

Why We Like It – Vivo Mobile Phone

For those who want more camera tech in their smartphones, the Vivo Mobile Phone offers its own gimbal camera, along with great color and quality to boot, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset to wrap it all up.

Pros
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset
  • Great camera quality
  • Fair pricing
Cons
  • Camera module juts out
  • Lacks a headphone jack

Overall Performance

Powering the Vivo X50 Pro is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. It’s a drop down from the 865 found inside the One Plus 8, but still handles Fortnite, PUBG Mobile, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. As for the camera, it doesn’t quite match the OnePLus 8 Pro, but it sure tries. It captures colors with vibrant accuracy, even in low light conditions. Contrast is quite good, but there tends to be a lack of sharpness in some areas—especially when you zoom in.

Battery Life

Lasting the entire day isn’t on the Vivo Mobile Phone’s to-do list, but it does well enough. On a single charge, you’ll get up to 9 hours. If you use it frequently, you can expect about 5 to 6 hours, depending on what you’re doing.

Display

At this point in time, a 90Hz is commonplace, but that doesn’t stop the Vivo Mobile Phone from utilizing it well. Animations and scrolling are smoother than ever. Just as important is the resolution itself; the 2376×1080 looks tasty, along with good color saturation and pixel count. Be sure to also take a look at our Unihertz Jelly Pro review.

Durability

The Vivo Mobile Phone has a nice matte finish to ward off fingerprints, and curved aluminum sides for extra strength. However, there’s one major flaw: the camera module juts out, making it so you’re one step away from having a bad accident. Despite looking good and premium, the Ulefone Armor is ready to take a beating.

Value

On one hand, X50 Pro Vivo Phones are priced fairly; on the other hand, you could save a little more with the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, though it’d be hard to pass on its Snapdragon chipset. It’s still a well-rounded smartphone with an even better camera, but is often outclassed by more well-known competitors.

Vivo Mobile Phone Wrap Up

The Vivo Mobile Phone is by no means a terrible smartphone—it’s quite good in its own right. If you’re stuck on a budget, we’d suggest this. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset opens up some solid gaming and acts out its processes with precision and speed, along with a great camera. But if you have more wiggle room, look for something with more of an identity.
