Getting the right iPhone battery case can be very challenging especially if you’re not quite sure what to look out for. There are some that are easy on the eyes and don’t have that much battery power to supply, and others that are focussed more on functionality over looks. The Trianium Atomic Pro however tries to balance both form and function since it looks good and still has a decent power supply to boast of. Made for the iPhone 7 Plus and the 8 Plus, the lightweight battery case has a 4200 mAh battery capacity, and is made out of black polycarbonate which is sturdy enough to handle the impact when your phone falls down every now and then. Get to the end of this review to see what one of the best iphone battery cases has in store.

Why We Like It – Trianium Atomic Pro

The Trianium Atomic Pro is a 4200mAh battery case that’ll give your iPhone the power to last through a full day of use, and absorb the shock from any fall so that your phone never gets scratched or bruised. And just for safety measures, take a look at our review of the top 7 smartphone fails.

Pros
  • Adds 24 Hour Talk Time, or 12 Hour Browsing Time
  • Lifetime Warranty
  • Ultra Slim
Cons
  • 3.5mm and lightning audio is not compatible

Performance

The Atomic Pro battery case offers a good amount of extra battery life and protection to your iPhone. It’s 4200mAh battery adds up to 24 hours talktime, or an additional 12 hours for you to use as browsing time. It doesn’t match up to the two 1430mAh batteries that come with the Apple Smart Battery Case, but it has a dual-layered frame that consists of a hardened layer to protect against scratches, and a soft second layer to keep it safe from drops. You won’t be able to plug in your 3.5mm or lightning connected headphones, so you’ll be forced to stick to a wireless bluetooth connection or AirPods for your audio listening needs. Feel free to check out the beautifully designed Piggy Pro Smartphone Stand that is compatible with all smartphone devices.

Design

The Atomic Pro extended battery case is not that different from other battery cases in terms of its looks. The case has a soft-touch finish, and at 6 ounces, it barely adds any weight to your iPhone. It comes in an elegant black profile, is ultra slim and measures 6.5 x 2.7 x 0.42 inches which is pretty standard for a battery case. Once you make your purchase, you’ll find the Atomic pro battery case itself in the box, alongside a micro USB charging cable that you can use to charge both the case’s battery and synchronize your files on your computer through a single charging port; a feature that you also get with the Smiphee iPhone Battery Case.

Value

To activate the portable charger, all you have to do is to hold down the power button at the back, and if you just need to know how much battery life it’s got left, you’ll just press the same button once. Just like the Swaller iPhone battery case, It’s power status will be shown through the 4 LEDs that are next to the power button, and when all of them light up, it means that the case has got full battery capacity.

Trianium Atomic Pro Wrap Up

The Tranium iPhone battery case is a solid choice for anyone looking to extend their iPhone’s battery life. It’s got a 360° comprehensive bumper design, has all the cutouts you’d need, and redirects the speakers to the front to make the sound that comes from the phone a lot louder.
