Typically, anyone whose phone doesn’t last a day on a single charge is either encouraged to get a power bank or a battery case. Power Banks are normally too bulky to carry around, so most people lean towards battery cases. The Mophie Juice Pack Access in particular is a battery case that is very popular with iPhone users for both its design and its compact figure. It comes in a soft matte finish, and with a capacity of 2000mAh for the iPhone X & XS, you’ll definitely be able to get to the end of your day with your iPhone still on. To be more specific, Mophie says the case will add about 25 more hours of battery life to your phone which is not bad at all. Get to the end of this review to see whether the Mophie case is one of the best iPhone battery cases for you.

Why We Like It – Mophie iPhone Battery Case

A lot of iPhone users are fans of the Mophie iPhone battery cases, and their love for the Juice Pack Access range proves no different. The Mophie Juice Pack Access cases are actually better looking than the Mophie Juice Pack Air range, with the only major difference between them being that the Access range features USB-C connectivity, while the Air features lightning connectivity. And just for safety measures, take a look at our review of the top 7 smartphone fails.

Cons
  • Only comes in Black

Performance

Whether you own an iPhone XS, iPhone XR or an iPhone XS Max, there’s a Mophie case for you that’ll help extend your phone’s battery life significantly. The ones that have a 2000mAh battery capacity for example allows for up to 72 hours of music playback, 25 hours of talktime, 17 hours of video playback or 15 hours of web browsing. The battery pack also has a tough polycarbonate exterior for absorbing impact, and unlike the Apple Smart Battery Case, it grants full access to the lightning port so that you can listen to music and charge the case at the same time.

Design

Compared to most battery cases (the Trianium Atomic Pro 4200mAh iPhone Battery Case included), the Juice Pack Access looks very good. It’s only available in a black color, and on its back, it has 4 LED lights just like the Mophie Juice Pack Air that tell you how much battery power the case has left. Right next to them is a power button that you can press to start charging the phone from the battery case. You certainly won’t get any problems fixing your iPhone into the Mophie Juice Pack Access case, as all you’ll need to do is slip your phone to the bottom, and then snap its top into the top of the case. This won’t take you long, and is fairly easy to do.

Value

The Mophie iPhone Charging case is built to last long, and prevent your iPhone from wear and tear. It’s durability offers great value for money. Charging the Mophie Juice Pack Access case can be done either through the Micro USB cable that comes included, or through wireless charging by placing it on a QI wireless pad. On top of that, another neat feature that the Mophie battery case comes with is priority charging, where the iPhone gets charged first, and the case after. The Swaller iPhone Battery Case isn’t capable of that, since if you charge your iPhone in it, it’ll power up the case before the phone’s battery.

Mophie iPhone Battery Case Wrap Up

The Mophie battery case buys back a lot of the time that you would’ve spent charging your phone. It’s not bulky, and doesn’t cost too much money compared to other options that are pricier and don’t even have that much value.
